Design Finds | Sundays in Vancouver
In Vancouver this past weekend, I stopped by Sundays to see some of their pieces in real life—which, as a designer, is extremely valuable. Online shopping is convenient, but there’s nothing quite like experiencing the textures, finishes, and scale of a piece in person. Sundays has a clean, laidback aesthetic that feels very West Coast. Sundays has a clean, laid-back aesthetic that feels distinctly West Coast. Their furniture works beautifully in modern spaces and also pairs well with more heritage-inspired design. Their pieces are also extremely good quality and built to last. Here are a few pieces that caught my eye in the showroom and scroll down for a few more that I’m loving.
What caught my eye — the Bowen Rug, a neutral, but soft and super textural rug that would work in any space. The Field Stool — I snapped a photo of the Glacier finish. It is super versatile, and I love how the wood grain comes through. And the Poppy finish is too good! The Plane Coffee Table was amazing. So, so good. This piece feels really substantial. And for a side table, I love to use something that is solid wood, such as the Amalfi Stool. It has so much character.
